Volante Opera Productions is proud to present our current releases available on CD and digital download.
All physical copies of our released recordings are available either directly from ourselves (prices and information on the "Shop" page from the menu) or from any major online retailer. Digitally they are on all major digital platforms with the exception of Spotify.
Our Demo Recordings
Our demo recordings are created using sampled instruments painstakingly combined and balanced to create the orchestra - the intent being that with our limited resources and budget we can get as close a representation as possible of what these pieces would sound like when played by a symphonic orchestra.
As for the professional singers, they have all given their time freely with only a promise of a share of profits should these projects reach that goal.
We would love to hear these pieces performed and recorded by a real orchestra and full chorus but until that time we feel that these recordings are a wonderful representation of the work and do the important job of making these powerful pieces accessible to the general public.
We are currently working on a recording of Paul Corfield Godfrey's Musical Chapters from The Lord of the Rings after the mythology of JRR Tolkien.

Our 2022 Demo Recording of Paul Corfield Godfrey's opera "The Nightingale and the Rose" based upon the short story by Oscar Wilde was released on 5th December 2022. Also on the album there will be recordings of his setting of "The Sphinx", again after Oscar Wilde, and "Hymnus Mysticus", a setting of Aleister Crowley.

This is a complete recording of the composer's Milne and Carroll songs - some of which were available to hear for the first time on record. This was released on 11th August 2023.
